Biography
  • Practice concentrates on complex corporate restructurings and bankruptcy litigation.

Kevin focuses on chapter 11 and out-of-court complex financial restructurings and represents various parties in interest, including debtors, secured lenders, bondholders, creditors’ committees, and liquidating trustees.

Kevin counsels clients in a variety of industries, including:

  • Telecommunications

  • Retail
  • Energy.

Earlier in his career, Kevin was an associate in the bankruptcy and restructuring group of a New York law firm.

  • Yellow Corporation: Counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the chapter 11 cases of Yellow Corporation, an American-based trucking and transportation services company that operated one of the largest less-than-truckload networks in North America, involving over $1.2 billion of liabilities.
  • Spirit: Counsel to an ad hoc group of secured noteholders in the chapter 11 cases of Spirit Airlines, an American ultra-low-cost airline, involving $3.6 billion in liabilities.
  • CBL & Associates Properties: Counsel to an ad hoc group of unsecured noteholders in the chapter 11 cases of CBL and its affiliates, owner of a property portfolio across 26 states, involving $2.6 billion in liabilities. Successful Restructurings of the Year (Turnarounds & Workouts)

  • Sungard: Counsel to Sungard Availability Services and its affiliates, a global operator of colocation data and disaster recovery centers, in their chapter 11 cases involving more than $500 million in liabilities and the sale of substantially all of the company’s assets.
